EVs are complex vectors of intercellular communication that carry bioactive cargos (proteins, lipids, nucleic acids) harbored in a lipid bilayer.  The "e-mail" of the cell, EVs act as encoded messages from the tumour microenvironment. We are elucidating these complex compositions using mass spectrometry.
